Tradition reimagined
Wear the story.
The Heritage Collection celebrates Africa’s extraordinary tradition of textiles and craftsmanship. Our pieces explore ways of incorporating traditional inspiration into modern fashion.

Aso-Oke
Aso-Oke is a handwoven textile deeply associated with Yoruba heritage. Its texture, structure, patterns, and history have made it an important textile for generations. At The Threads of Africa, we explore ways of integrating its distinctive character into contemporary garments.
Adire
Adire represents an important tradition of resist-dyed textile artistry. Known especially for expressive patterns and rich indigo traditions, Adire allows every piece to carry its own character. Handcrafted textiles may show natural variations in pattern, color, or texture; these differences are part of what makes each garment distinctive.
Tradition, in new forms
Aso-Oke may become an accent on a premium hoodie. Adire may inspire a modern jacket or children’s set. Traditional weaving may influence the texture of a contemporary garment. Our goal is to create balance between heritage and modernity.
